Stimpy, thanks for your comments. I know I'm a liberal, and thus I'm not frequently going to agree with much that comes from the right wing of the blogosphere and talk radio, but as I've said more than once, I actually do appreciate those folks on the right who are rational able to clearly articulate their beliefs without resorting to name calling and "shouting."

What's most disappointing to me about Kevin Fischer is that he's a man in a unique position, given his standing in Senator Lazich's office. As such, one would think he'd be more apt to act with dignity and decorum, but I suppose good behavior wouldn't drive up his page hits.

I'm not a blogger, but I am far to the right of center. Fischer has proven himself to be a blowhard. I think that he thought that he could pull off a "shock jock" mentality and still feel that he could rise above. The NOW websites all seemed to go through a vocally strong period that seemed to suddenly end at the time that Fischer blew his gasket.

It is really pathetic to watch his friends try to drum up support for him on other sites, only to be left standing alone. I think that conservatives don't call out their counterparts, they shun them. That is what we are now seeing in the area. Even those that like him are disassociating themselves, and he has effectively been sent to the corner for a long time.

(Not so) surprisingly, there has not been one right wing blogger who has condemned Mr. Fischer for his attacks. Go figure. I know from experience how they scream when it is one of their own that feels their faux outrage.
