Milwaukee’s Best Burgers

This has nothing to do with politics, but Playboy came out with a list of the top ten best hamburgers in America, and apparently Solly’s in Glendale made the list.

Now I’ve been to a lot of burger joints in the Milwaukee area - including Solly’s - and I don’t think Solly’s is even close to being the best in town, much less one of the ten best in the United States. For my money, I’d eat at Kopp’s or Bella’s Fat Cat before I’d eat at Solly’s, simply because I find Solly’s burgers to be overly greasy - to the point of being unappetizing.

I’ve got my favorites; what about all three of you who visit BloggingBlue?

Reader #1 here. Oscar’s on Hwy 100 and Lincoln Ave. They are the offshoot of Kopp’s. Better hamburgers, cheaper price.

And that’s only cuz it’s closer to me than Hardee’s. Their new menu is great.

Yeah, Oscar’s is good too, especially if you want something sweet afterwards.

Reader #2 here. Sobelmans has the best burger in the city in my book. They are cheap too.

Ah, I’ve never been to Sobelman’s; I’ll have to check them out!

    Reader #3 has arrived.

Personally, I am the biggest fan of Culver’s or Omega. Heck, when I think about it, TGI Friday’s has a good burger, too.

    Talk about my originality!

Greg, I’m fond of Culver’s too, so don’t knock your originality.
