Of course, we have no idea of how long it will take to completely recover, but some say it’s going to be longer than for the other recessions in decades. That alone is enough not to vote for him. I don't know about others, but eight years of hell is more than enough for me. The other two candidates have us all on the dole. To not admit the possibility would alienate the groups he's visiting right now. Economics are rarely good for them. The problem with a recession - you don't really know until it's almost over. McCain knows the economy. I watched him lead questions at the Wisconsin summit the other day. But, like I said then, most Americans don't understand. While he doesn't have to worry about winning people like you over, there are moderate Democrats that could add a vote on election day if he seems more like one of them.
