Do I think the economic stimulus package is going to get our economy back on track? No.

Do I appreciate getting $1,800 of my money back? Absolutely.

Do I like the fact that I’m paying $4.00 for a gallon of gas and I’ve seen my deferred compensation take a nose dive? Not at all.

Sure, I appreciate my stimulus check, but as you said, I think something more/better could have been done.

Speaking of stimulus checks, it’s unfortunate that our government doesn’t do something a little better than handing money back.

You see, while I might be getting $300 back in a stimulus check, I’m losing money in stocks and in gas. Where’s my compensation for that?

capper, I couldn’t agree more. I’m going to call Wal-Mart and see if they can bulldoze South Milwaukee High School and slap a store on that land.

After all, we could sure use yet another Wal-Mart here on the south side, especially given the fact that we only have 9 Wal-Marts within 20 miles of us.

You’re absolutley correct, Zach. Another sure sign that the economy is going south is people unable to even keep gas in their cars.

What we need is a Wally World on every corner. That’ll fix it right up.
