Obviously I’m not a fan of conservative radio talker Michael Savage, but I found it interesting to hear what he had to say about Sen. John McCain’s decision to choose Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate (emphasis Savage’s):
McCain has thrown the election. It is clear now with his choice for Vice [...]

This past Wednesday, inmate Martin Williams escaped from the custody of the Milwaukee County House of Corrections after overpowering the lone corrections officer escorting him to a doctor’s appointment at St. Luke’s in Milwaukee. Williams was caught six hours later during a traffic stop, and when he was arrested he was in possession of [...]

John McCain was thinking when he chose Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, but as I’ve spent the day thinking about this choice, it strikes me as more than a little curious. Putting aside Palin’s thin resume – which makes Democratic nominee Barack [...]

NIGHT 1: First thought – there’s a reason these folks aren’t speaking in prime time. Boy, there’s some really terrible public speakers in the group, and it makes me wonder how some of these folks got elected to public office.
Next thought – Alexi Giannoulias (Illinois State Treasurer) might be the exception. He gave [...]

Deke Rivers is wondering if Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is Senator John McCain’s choice as a running mate, and I’m wondering the same thing. Pawlenty has canceled media interviews he had previously been scheduled to do, and Minnesota news outlets are speculating Pawlenty’s the choice. Personally, I think the selection of Pawlenty as Sen. [...]

Predictably, some conservatives are poking fun at Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama’s decision to give his acceptance speech in front of a faux “Greek temple” at Mile High Stadium. As a point of reference, here’s a photo of the “temple:”
To me, it looks more like a mockup of the Lincoln Memorial or [...]
