To be honest, this is one of my favorite ads of the 2003 election cycle, and considering it came from MoveOn.org, that’s a surprise. While I generally appreciate what MoveOn is trying to do, I’ve always found most of their ads to come across as being “fringy” and a bit shrill, but this ad genuinely makes me laugh. It’s clever and fits the message of the Obama campaign, and I’d like to see more ads like this from MoveOn and the Obama campaign.
Now considering the negative tone the McCain campaign has taken in the past few weeks, this ad is a welcome relief from the negativity and attacks.
