Now you’ll have to pardon my language, but I’m glad to see the Democratic Party has finally gotten a set of balls. My biggest complaint during the 2004 election was Sen. John Kerry’s unwillingness (or inability) to fight back against the attacks he came under from the Republican ticket and their associated 527 groups. Sure, he fought back a little after the Swiftboat ads starting airing, but by that time it was too little too late, and in my opinion, the Kerry campaign’s inability to do a little attacking of their own is what cost them the election.

Having said that, I’m glad to see the Obama/Biden ticket punching back against the Republicans, and this video clip is a perfect example of why I think Senator Joe Biden was the perfect choice as Barack Obama’s running mate:

It’s good to see Sen. Biden showing some fire and going on the offensive against the Republican ticket, and it gives me hope that we Democrats won’t simply roll over and play dead any time we’re attacked.

  1. How many times will Zach change on how he feels of Joe Biden?

“I know it’s more likely to be Senator Joe Biden, but if the choice was between Biden and Edwards, I’d rather see Edwards get the nod.

    I was wrong….it’s Biden.

It’s a smart move for Obama, but I had hoped he’d pick someone a little more “outside the box.”

My initial thought upon hearing of the selection of Delaware Senator Joe Biden as Democratic nominee Barack Obama’s running mate was, “That’s a good choice.”

and this video clip is a perfect example of why I think Senator Joe Biden was the perfect choice as Barack Obama’s running mate:”

Edwards over Biden, hoped a pick outside the box, good choice, now perfect choice!

    WOW!!!!! Flip Flopper #1

  2. You’re right Steve, Biden wasn’t my first choice. I still think Chet Edwards would have been a good “out of the box” choice, but as I’ve gotten to see Biden out on the campaign trail, I’ve come to realize he’s just what the Obama ticket needed.

  3. No matter how many times, it won’t be as many as McCain did in the last few months.

  4. I still think Hillary would have been the best choice. But, that simply doesn’t matter because Biden is proving to be an excellent choice also. This year we had so many good candidates once the head of the ticket was chosen the VP was going to be great whomever it was.
Not so on the other side. That VP is critical and the choice was purely strategy for wooing right wing religious nutcases and a few women who don’t pay much attention to politics between elections.
BTW, I’d put money on Palin snapping at some journalist very soon and becoming the new bitch on heels.
