I have to admit I’ve always had a soft spot for good political satire, and as I was surfing the intertubes, I happened to come across two cartoons that I happened to find particularly funny.
Now I have a confession to make: I once found Senator John McCain to be an intriguing elected official, back in the days when he could credibly argue that he really was a maverick within the Republican Party. To be honest, I admired John McCain the Maverick, and so I’m saddened to see what John McCain has become. The same man who was so shamefully smeared before the 2000 South Carolina GOP primary has now become a smear merchant himself, and it’s sad to see what a hypocrite McCain’s become.
