(Not Quite) Fit to Lead!

Yep, Gov. Sarah Palin is fit to lead:

Asked by ABC News’ Charlie Gibson whether she supported the Bush Doctrine, Palin stared blankly for a moment before turning the question back on Gibson. “In what respect?”

The ABC anchor responded, “Well, what do you interpret it to be?” clearly testing her knowledge of the policy that has been in place since September 2002, before the Iraq war.

Palin couldn’t say, offering an answer that didn’t even mention preemption.

So let’s recap…when asked to interpret the Bush Doctrine, Gov. Palin seemed painfully and obviously clueless on what exactly the Bush Doctrine – which is essentially a policy of preemptive action – meant.

My favorite part of the interview had to be Gov. Palin’s answer when asked why exactly being the governor of Alaska made her an expert on Russia. Her response, which essentially boiled down to her citing Alaska’s geographic proximity to Russia, was laughable at best and downright scary at worst.
