Thank you to all our nation’s veterans for all their service to, and in defense of, this great nation. Though I was never fortunate enough to serve in our nation’s armed forces, I honor the service and sacrifice of those who have, among those my own grandfather, who retired from the Naval Reserves as a Chief Warrant Officer after 40+ years of service. I remember all too well when my grandfather – who was in his 60’s – was shipped to Kuwait during the first Gulf War, and I remember how proud I was of him for his service.
I’m proud of all our men and women in uniform, and they should be proud of their service to our nation.
