Sarah Palin really wants to be president someday, and she’s got the PAC to prove it.
While some had hoped she’d fade into obscurity after the 2008 presidential election, Gov. Palin has other plans. She recently set up her own Political Action Committee, SarahPAC, based out of Virginia, she’s been active on the conservative speaking circuit, and she’s also writing a book, all of which are no doubt intended to keep her in the public eye for as long as possible before she can declare her candidacy for the 2012 presidential election.
I’ve come to the conclusion that Gov. Palin is smarter than many (including myself) gave her credit for, but I still don’t see her being the strongest or best candidate if Republicans want to get serious about seating President Obama in 2012.

She needs a PAC to pay for all the Hefty bags that they put her clothes in. You know, the ones we were told were going to the poor, but really weren’t.
Yeah, I heard that story too, but I’m not going to jump on it yet. I’ll reserve judgment, even if some folks on the right didn’t after all those American flags left over from the DNC convention were found in bags ready to be donated.
Heck, I can actually buy the GOP’s explanation for Palin’s clothes, because I’ve put clothes I planned on donating into clean trash bags to drop off at Goodwill.
