The Reasonable Progressive, one of my favorite blogs in the Cheddarsphere, has an “awkward” request (her words, not mine) that merits consideration by all three of you who read this blog regularly:

I have a hard time praying for myself, let alone asking other people to do it. But I’ve got a bit of a medical situation going on right now, without any easy answers, and it’s safe to say that the last few weeks have been quite stressful. I’ve got about a week or so before I finally know for sure what is going on and what kind of life choice I have to make, but for now I would ask that those of you who read this blog…please pray for me, my husband, my family, and my friends as I wait for news that may significantly alter the course of my life in the coming months.
