An update on the North Side Strangler
Just a quick update on the ongoing investigation of the North Side Strangler:
It’s being speculated one of the suspects authorities are taking a close look at for possible involvement in the “North Side Strangler” killings is a City of Milwaukee employee. I’ve not been able to confirm the truth of the speculation, due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, but if I do receive confirmation, I’ll be sure to let you know.

City of Milwaukee employee? As in a MPD officer??
Not an MPD officer; likely a DPW or Dept. of Neighborhood Services worker.
I don’t think so.
I’ll go one step further and give you a profile:
Black Male
Mid 40′s
Heavyset and still lives with a family member (grandma)
Easily Angered
Has had no meaningful relationships due to his physical appearance (lacks self-esteem and probally has acne scars)
Sex is’nt his primary motive, just a bonus
His rush comes from the actual killing itself (stragulation is upclose and personal)
Does’nt have sex with all victims (Lillian Birilley found in boarded up building at 2456 W. Center Street on 9-19-06. Killed by strangulation. Blocks from confirmed victims, I suspect this is also his doing.)
Spent entire life in the area. (The UNSUB has a keen knowledge of the area.)
I discovered that info on the north side strangler is scarce. Then, on Friday, I received an e-mail from a member of a true crime chat room concerning an article published by a retired Milw. Police Dept. lieutenant for Amazon.com’s Kindle (e-books). If you have an iPhone, an iPod Touch or a Kindle, you can upload the article for $3. Here’s the link:
http://www.amazon.com/Killer-Our-Midst-Milwaukees-ebook/dp/B002J9HJRW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1249167533&sr=8-1
The article contains some interesting stuff about the crime scenes. Lt. Spingola also provides an actual profile of the killer and politely rips a former sergeant who claims detectives blew off the cases because the women were hookers.
John, I downloaded the article to my iPhone. It contain lots of things I’ve never read before about the case. Thanks for the post.
