Honadel to run for reelection in 2010

Earlier this week, I wrote about a rumor State Representative Mark Honadel might be retiring after his current term in office expires; however it appears that rumor is false, as Rep. Honadel himself explained:

It was brought to my attention that a rumor was published on this website saying that I may not run for re-election in 2010. This rumor is completely false.

While my focus right now is on the state budget and other important matters for our state in this legislative session, I have every intention of asking the people of the 21st Assembly District to send me back to the State Capitol on their behalf in 2010. I take very seriously the duty they have entrusted to me and I would be honored if they would allow me to continue to serve the community as State Representative.

There is much work to be done in this legislative session and beyond. It’s my mission to stand up for overburdened taxpayers, work to improve the business climate to get our economy moving again, and make government more efficient and responsive to its citizens.
