Marathon County GOP spokesperson ousted

Kevin Stevenson, now the former spokesman for the Marathon County Republican Party, was ousted from his position only three months after writing an editorial criticizing Republican Party leader Rush Limbaugh. “If the leadership had wanted a more moderate position, we would have let him (continue),” said Kevin Hermening, local Republican Party treasurer and a past president of the local Republican Party.

Yeah, purging moderates from the party…that’s a foolproof long-term strategy for rebuilding the Republican Party.
