Ron Paul On Healthcare

Ron Paul On Healthcare

Ron Paul is the grandfather that is probably right but we are not convinced that his being right is reason enough to change our behavior.

I favor national healthcare although not like the plans currently discussed. Catch Ron Paul’s comments above.

  • As I see it, the issue isn’t whether the market can deliver health care – because the market has shown it can. The issue is whether the market can provide health care that’s affordable enough for all Americans to be able to have coverage.

I think I would say it this way:
There will always be people who cannot afford healthcare, what will society do for them?
There will always be people who will spend their possible healthcare dollars on other things, what will society do for them?
And there will always be those who cannot afford the healthcare they need although they have what healthcare they can afford. What will society do for them?

All too often we sidetrack on issues unrelated to which people will need what kinds of help.

Are you saying that it’s the federal government’s job to step in and PROVIDE (that’s your word in allcaps above) affordable health care for all Americans?
