Senator Not Funny At All

Senator-elect Al Franken has finally made it to Washington, DC, where he was sworn in today as Minnesota’s junior U.S. Senator by Vice President Joe Biden. Franken, known for his stand up comedy and acerbic wit, has taken a very serious approach to his new role as a U.S. Senator:


While I understand being a United States Senator is a serious job, it’d be nice to see a little humor from Al Franken. After all, politics could use a few more laughs.

At any rate, congratulations to Senator Al Franken!
