According to a press release issued by his office, Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner of Wisconsin’s fifth Congressional district is being treated for early stage prostate cancer. According to Sensenbrenner’s doctor, the cure rate for Sensenbrenner’s cancer is between 85 and 95 percent.

Though I don’t agree with his politics, I wish Rep. Sensenbrenner a full and speedy recovery.

One Response to Rep. Sensenbrenner being treated for cancer

  1. PartiallyBlue says:

And just yesterday I heard that the PSA test does not distinguish between very small slow growing tumors and more aggressive ones. The point being that many men have undergone treatment that was not likely necessary.

In any case, I hope Rep. Sensenbrenner defeats his cancer.
