Luuuther! I could listen to him all day! Thanks!
You’re welcome.
Here’s a link to a catchy little tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zrsl8o4ZPo
That’s right, it’s school kids singing/rapping the praises of our 44th President. I thought you would appreciate it, since you seem to enjoy reporting on wacky/fringe stories. Oh wait, you only do that for the far right, and that’s just when they are expressing free speech, not indoctrinating young minds in our public school system. I forgot, this is a liberal blog and therefore this type of story must be ignored.
I didn’t agree with those who were upset with the President addressing the schools, but after watching this, can you really blame some of those parents who freaked out?! These teachers have these kids memorizing lines like “Hooray, Mr. President we honor your great plans…” It’s creepy.
Yeah, that’s not really my genre, but thanks for sharing, forgot.
As for your critique of the stories I choose to write about, I’ll just note that I’ve spent plenty of time criticizing Democrats on this blog, so save your indignation for someone else.
Fair enough, your tunes choices were much better than the creepy adoration from the kids.
Didn’t meant to be overly critical. You do have some good posts too. Have a great weekend!
forgot, for what it’s worth I think that video you linked to is absolutely creepy, and even I’d have a problem with that if it were one of my kids being taught that.
ZW, “…even I’d have a problem with that if it were one of my kids being taught that.”
That’s why you are a gentleman and a scholar
(…for a commie, jk)
Ultimately, while I support the president, I don’t worship him, nor do I want my children worshiping him. He’s just a man, as imperfect as any other, and anyone who tries to make him into this messianic figure ought to have their heads examined.
