  1. That guy should move to France and take his guitar with him! That’s 3 minutes of my life I will never get back.

Here’s a fact: France’s “FREE” health care is funded through a 13.55 percent payroll tax, a 5.25 percent income tax and other taxes on tobacco, alcohol and drug-company revenues. And the system is still running a $15.6 billion deficit. His song could have used a verse or two about the new taxes Obama will have us paying.

Even if the point is conceded that the U.S. is #37 (perhaps unfairly compared to places like Malta and San Marino), the debate isn’t IF reforms are needed, it is HOW to do it and WHAT reforms to implement.

But of course we are all just suppose to watch the cute little video and be persuaded that government intervention is the only answer. SAVE US BIG DADDY GOVERNMENT!

    1. There’s also the problem that the WHO’s rankings are primarily based on life expectancy from census data, which includes accidental deaths, suicides, and homicides. As these causes of death do not relate to healthcare they should be removed from the rankings. Since the U.S. has higher rates of deaths caused by homicide and traffic accidents its WHO ranking would significantly improved once these deaths from these causes are removed.
