The ironic thing about the attempt to Lipscomb for supporting the sales tax referendum is the fact that District 1 (which he represents) voted <i>for</i> the referendum by an almost 2 to 1 margin. capper, CRG is just looking to stay relevant; that’s all. He just saved taxpayers some $10 million in the repair of Estabrook Dam and got the state to pay for the PCB clean up. If anything, he is one of the most representative of his district of all of his supervisors. Yet they ignore Paul Cesarz who actually voted to raise taxes and, of course, Scott Walker, who will end up causing higher taxes due to his already failed budget proposal, with even more spending.
