A platitude – and a false one at that. In some cases, something is better than nothing, but not this case, not this time.
I’m in favor of reform and there are a handful of improvements in this bill – but so much bad that nothing would clearly be better than this something.
the bill has a long way to go,the house and senate are far apart on some of the issues
True, but I’m betting the Senate bill will be much closer to the final version.
