Cue the right-wing outrage machine!
I know Ted Nugent ceased being relevant about 20 years ago, but I can’t help but wonder when the right-wing outrage machine will kick into gear over Nugent’s remarks that President Obama should be jailed.
After all, the right-wing outrage machine didn’t waste any time kicking into gear when the Dixie Chicks famously declared in 2003 that they were ashamed that the President of the United States was from Texas, so logically it stands to reason the same folks who attacked the Dixie Chicks will now attack Ted Nugent for calling for the president to be jailed…right?
Personally, I’m betting right-wingers will make any number of excuses to justify what Ted Nugent said, because as long as he was attacking a liberal, it’s A-Okay!
H/T to folkbum.

They (right wingers) won’t say anything because they agree with Nugent.
Much like they (left wingers) agreed with the Chicks… Take your own stand. Burn his records. Stop listening to him. Call him bad names on the blog. We (right wingers) don’t care… It’s still a free country…. For now.
Stopped being relevant? He’s in guitar Hero.
you do understand the differences, right? The Dixie Chicks are a country music group, and making the statement they did while on foreign soil was certainly not what their target audience would expect. On the other hand, I think Ted Nugent’s fans know what they are getting.
By the way, you may want! to! cut! back! on! the! caffeine!
Plenty of liberals called for Bush and Cheney to be impeached, jailed, brought up on war crimes, and worse. So now someone suggests that of a liberal president. Does it matter that he is a singer?
