Limbaugh hospitalized

Rush Limbaugh’s in the hospital.

I suppose I should say a prayer for him, but here’s a thought: would Rush Limbaugh encourage his listeners to pray for the speedy recovery of a liberal (say, President Obama) hospitalized due to chest pains? I’m thinking the answer to my question is no.

  • Your thinking is wrong Zach. Why post something so disingenuous? Next time don’t post or comment about it because it makes you look foolish and petty…….

  • Tim

Oh cut it out, E. You know damn what Limbaugh would say. Who’s lying now?

  • I do what he would say Zach. Do you listen to him?

  • Limbaugh was talking about the health care bill and rightly predicted that the left would pull the “DO IT FOR TEDDY” bit. This was not a swipe at Kennedy, it was a swipe at the predictability of the left….

I meant Tim on the last comment……I do know what he would say ZTim. Do you listen to him?

Well Zach, I guess this gives you the opportunity to be the bigger man — a resolution we would all do well to follow for the new year. Have a good one everybody!

And BTW…I won’t be saying a prayer for Rush. Sorry…just can’t do it. Fucking blowhard.

  • Tim

I have listened to him and he’s a bigot and a liar.

If the birthers disbelieve Obama’s Hawaiian birth certificate will they disbelieve Rush’s Hawaiian death certificate should he die in Hawaii?

Now don’t get your panties in a wad you self-righteous conservatives. I’m not praying, wishing or calling for Rush to die. (At least not publicly.)

How hypocritical would it be to suddenly “pray” for someone you dislike…just because he is in the hospital?? No…that’s not going to happen. I can think of a million other people who need my prayers more than Rush. It bothers me this is even news when we have children dying daily…being abused…starving…freezing…etc. Yeah…I know…priorities…a man who makes millions off of brainwashed sheeple by inciting their fears of a big scary Muslim President is much more important.

Anon, I think you are taking Zach’s question too literally. Of course there are a lot of important things to pray for. But it’s not hypocritical to pray for someone you dislike at all… we were instructed to pray for our enemies, even though that can be tough to do.

Not that I would call Rush your enemy simply because you dislike his show, ideas, or whatever. I detest many of the IDEAS of President Obama and liberals, but I would never hope any harm befalls them personally.

On a final note, why did you put the word “pray” in quotes in your sentence?

Apparently…according to a Yahoo News story…Rush said, “Based on what happened to me here, I don’t think there is one thing wrong with the American healthcare system. It is working just fine.” And…that the hospital staff made his stay “…almost like a hotel.” What a moron. I’ll bet he didn’t even have chest pains…he probably did this as a publicity/political stunt. I can’t even believe people waste their time listening to this jackass.
