Unemployment in Wisconsin dips in November

While our economy is certainly far from being fully recovered from its near-collapse of late 2008 and 2009, there are some signs things are starting to improve. According to numbers reported by the Department of Workforce Development, Wisconsin’s unemployment rate improved a bit in November, dropping to 8.2% from 8.4% in October. While these most recent unemployment numbers are certainly encouraging, they’re not as strong an economic indicator as the fullness of mall parking lots, so it’s clear the economy still has some recovering to do.
