Honadel will have a challenger in the 21st AD

It appears my prayers have been answered, as State Rep. Mark Honadel (R-South Milwaukee) will have a Democratic challenger for the seat he occupies in the State Assembly. Honadel’s Democratic challenger is Thomas A. Michalski, who currently serves as the alderman for Oak Creek’s 6th District. I don’t know much about Mr. Michalski or his politics (though I’ll surely try to find out more), but I’m certainly encouraged by the prospect of Rep. Honadel having a Democratic challenger in November.

I’ve long maintained the 21st Assembly District isn’t conservative enough to warrant Rep. Honadel running unopposed as often as he has, and I can only hope Thomas Michalski plans on making a serious run against Rep. Honadel, because the voters of the 21st Assembly District deserve a real choice on their ballots in November.

I’ll have more on the candidacy of Thomas Michalski in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

  1. Tom is a great guy. I worked with him when I was on the Oak Creek Common Council. He’s very pragmatic but also not afraid to take a tough position if necessary. I’m excited for him and the 21st District.

  2. I bet Glen Brower really disappointed you, huh? What a worthless POS. Just like this Michalski guy. He’s going to lose. You forget one thing: Mark Honadel IS the 21st District.

    1. Nothing more to add besides hurling insults?

As for your statement that Mark Honadel IS the 21st district, I couldn’t disagree more, because I don’t think the 21st is nearly as conservative as Mark Honadel.
