Vukmir gets an “F” from police organization
By Zach W On July 9, 2010 · 3 Comments · In Election 2010, News, Those Kooky Conservatives!, Wisconsin Politics
Earlier today, the Wisconsin Professional Police Association (WPPA) announced the results for its report cards for the 2009-2010 legislative session, and State Rep. Leah Vukmir (R-Wauwatosa) got a big fat “F,” scoring a miserable 33% on the WPPA’s report card.
Conversely, State Senator Jim Sullivan, who Rep. Vukmir is challenging in the 5th State Senate District, scored a rating of 86% from the WPPA, so it’ll be interesting a race between a tough on crime Democrat and a soft on crime Republican, as seems to be the case in the Vukmir/Sullivan race.

Glen “goofy” grothman scored a whopping 30%……
Explain why she has the endorsement of the Milwaukee Police Association and the West Milwaukee Police Association? Why West Milwaukee? What’s wrong with those officers? I’m being redundant but I’m Mortified!
I would expect her to have the endorsement of the Elm Grove or Brookfield Police Association since, per her campaign site, she touts her fundraisers/supporters in those communities. God forbid she should ever stick her big toe in West Milwaukee; that would just be a “blue collar” downer. Why associate yourself with West Milwaukee when you can be photographed with future constituents Senator Alberta Darling and former Lt.Gov. Margaret Farrow (incidentially of Pewaukee).
Neither you nor the link to the WPPA explain what the grades are based on other than candidates get points for agreeing with them. Don’t you think you should know what issues they are basing it on before you label someone soft on crime?
