Blogging Blue is three years old today.

I started this blog as a fun hobby to give me an outlet to express my views on politics, but over the course of the past three years it’s become much more than that. In addition to being an outlet to express my views, it’s also been a place where I could come and discuss the issues of the day with folks from both ends of the political spectrum who are as passionate as I am about politics, and more importantly, this blog has allowed me the opportunity to become more engaged in the political process as an activist and and advocate.

I’d like to thank all of you who’ve made Blogging Blue what it is today, from those of you who are contributors (Greg K., MadCityMan, AL, and ProudProgressive) to those of you who contribute so much to the debate through your comments. You all have made this a truly enjoyable experience, and it’s because of you that I look forward to another three years (hopefully) of this.

In honor of today here’s some music from Stevie Wonder, one of my all-time favorites. Appropriately enough, it’s from his 1980 album “Hotter Than July”:

I don’t even remember how I found this site a few months ago. I think I was searching for information about the candidates for the recent Cudahy election. Congratulations on three years!
