Wonder Woman & Representative Baldwin Rock Madison

Showing what a good sport she is and the breadth of her constituency, Democratic Representative Tammy Baldwin rocked out on the steps of Madison’s City Hall with Wonder Woman. Go Tammy!

I was curious to learn more about Wonder Woman, so visited Wikipedia for a historical perspective. She was introduced in the 40s and was based on representing the following: “a distinctly feminist role model whose mission was to bring the Amazon ideals of love, peace, and sexual equality to a world torn by the hatred of men.”

Maybe we need more Wonder Women like Tammy in Congress to bring Wonder Women’s ideals to fruition.

  1. Sorry to be a nitpicker, but that’s not city hall. It’s the steps of Memorial Library in Library Mall.

  2. breadth of her constituency

Huh? Wouldn’t this be the Wisconsin’s 2nd, comprised largely of Madison? Despite disagreeing on a majority of issues, I definitely respect her consistency on positions, consistent with her principles. I’d also say she pretty clearly represents her Madison constituents well. But she certainly doesn’t speak for the majority of farmers & small town people. Since redistricting, Madison politics dominate her district – while it’s not as one-sided as the 4th or 5th, it’s not far behind.
