Yesterday I noted an alleged effort on the part of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, Americans For Prosperity, and the GrandSons of Liberty, a tea party group here in Wisconsin, to engage in a practice known as “voter caging,”. After the allegations became public, the GrandSons of Liberty issued a press release dismissing the allegations [...] For the second (third?) time this year, Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Walker (or a member of his campaign’s inner circle) has made Keith Olbermann’s “Worst Persons in the World.” Walker made Olbermann’s list thanks to his 68-page jobs plan, which just so happens to have been written in 58 point font:
Yet another attack ad on Senator Russ Feingold D-WI [...] The GOP seems to rule the ariwaves given the deep pockets of the billionaires supporting the idiocy of their dominant tea party and social conservative wings. The Koch family has gone to town with their funding of countless attack ads and of fake “grassroots” organizations, so it’s nice to see other players stepping into the void with hard hitting messages pointing out who really got us into the mess we’re slowly working out way out of today. [...] Just a couple of tidbits that caught my eye this weekend: On Saturday former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich spoke at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, sponsored by the Family Research Council.
