In the state pen! Tom \" the hammer\" Delay was convicted today and it could not of happened to a nicer guy!!!!
AUSTIN, Texas — Former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay — once one of the most powerful and feared Republicans in Congress — was convicted Wednesday on charges he illegally funneled corporate money to Texas candidates in 2002.
Jurors deliberated for 19 hours before returning guilty verdicts against DeLay on charges of money laundering and conspiracy to commit money laundering. He faces up to life in prison on the money laundering charge.
I am not sure that life in prison is enough of a punishment but it will have to do!! Maybe the Texas prosecutors can teach our prosecutors a thing or too for the Scooter re-trial! I personally would love to see scooter sharing Delays cell!!!

I’m not saying he’s innocent, but do you think the fact that the presiding judge jammed the jury with the ultimatum to either come to a verdict or face the prospect of being sequestered on Thanksgiving just MIGHT have affected the outcome?
They had already deliberated 19 hours+ how much more time would they need? I could of convicted him in 19 minutes!
