The republicans had major gains in the last election because unemployment was WAY too high( i know there were numerous reasons, but I would say the TOP one was unemployment). Everyone’s favorite orange guy, ran a campaign on Mr. president where are the jobs?. Echoed by Rep. Judy Biggert (R-IL):

Running on a strict “jobs platform” we know that they have been in for three full months and have been attacking the economy and working relentlessly on creating jobs!! Lets check back with our friend the Honorable Representative Judy Biggert(R-IL)

Did she just say

Stop talking about jobs? Did I just call her Honorable? Well Mr Boehner will be very upset about that! Let’s see what he has to say about “creating jobs”:

House Speaker John Boehner said Tuesday if some federal workers lose jobs because of Republican-proposed spending cuts, \"so be it.\"

D’OH.

Next thing you know the republicans in Wisconsin will give up on jobs and try and sell our power plants to the lowest bidder….
