Wisconsin – A Great State for Business?!?!?!

There is a recent article by Chiefexecutive.net where Wisconsin jumped from the 41st best business climate in the U.S. to 24th in a survey of 550 chief executive officers. We all know that if you can\'t trust a CEO, who can you trust really? Then papers like The Beloit Daily News (whose editor should really [...]

If having $686 mil is “broke” then sign me up

Wisconsin finds a money tree with $686 million unexpected dollars on it. Should we re-instate all collective bargaining rights with this windfall? Nah, that’s communism. On its website, Kennedy Enterprises lists circulating petitions as one of the services it provides.

Robin Vos clearly isn’t interested in fairness for Milwaukee County

Yesterday I noted Republican State Rep. Robin Vos’ push to not only disband the southeastern Wisconsin RTA, but to split the RTA’s remaining balance – roughly $1.27 million – equally between Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha counties.

Facing $7 million in cuts to Milwaukee County’s transit system thanks to the draconian budget proposed by Republican Gov. [...]

Perez’s resignation comes just five months after he was appointed to the post by Gov. Scott Walker.

“I’ll be exploring business opportunities,” Perez told BizTimes [...]
