First he was escorted out of the building, then he wasn’t

The curious case of the “resignation” of former DWD Secretary Manny Perez just keeps getting weirder and weirder. First Perez resigned his position abruptly after only a few months on the job, and then it was reported Perez may actually have been the subject of a “workplace complaint”. In my first blog entry discussing Perez’s abrupt resignation, Jeff Simpson noted he had received a report that Perez was actually escorted from his workplace, and yesterday Patrick Marley and Don Walker of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s All Politics Blog reported that Perez confirmed he was escorted from his workplace by Capitol Police, only to turn around a half hour later and recant his earlier statement, saying he wasn’t escorted from his workplace by Capitol Police.

Information has already started to trickle in regarding the true nature of Manny Perez’s resignation as DWD Secretary, and rest assured we’ll have more on this story as it develops.
