Gov. Walker’s special session is loaded with giveaways to special interests (VIDEO)

On Thursday Democratic Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca of Kenosha released the Democratic Weekly Address, which takes aim at the special jobs session of the legislature being called for by Republican Gov. Scott Walker.

The special jobs session would be the second attempt by Republicans in the legislature to pass job creation legislation, coming after their first attempt at creating jobs resulted in several months of job losses and a statewide unemployment rate that’s higher now than when Republicans took office.

  1. Gov. Scott Walker announced the awarding of over $1 million grant to Wisconsin & Southern Railroad for infrastructure improvement. Walker was opposed to the fast-rail connecting Milwaukee and Madison, but he has no problem with corporate welfare for the slow-speed choo-choo’s of Wisconsin & Southern. The CEO of Wisconsin & Southern is the convicted felon William E. Gardner– convicted of election campaign fraud for money laundering of $43,800 for Scott Walker’s campaign. Crime does pay.
