  1. Hi, my name is Dominik Schoonmaker. I am 17 years of age and I currently live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I have lived in America all my life untill 6months ago. My dad is in the Air Force so we move around alot and my dad got job here in Copenhagen. Ever since i have moved to Copenhagen ive really become to love Denmark and have become to really dislike America. I havnt paid an attetion to the politics or the election which are coming up soon. I go to the International School of Copenhagen and in my econmic class we were talking about inequalities and we were watching your video and when you said “If Americans Want to Live the American Dream They Should Move to Denmark!” I looked over to another one of my American collegues and we we both agreed with your statment.

  2. Spot on! I am Danish, I have have always believed, that the american way of living, is not at all free. USA is – in my point of view – not the land of the free. Not compared to Denmark, that is … They could do sooo much better.

    1. I’m sorry. I’m not patriotic by any stretch of the imagination, but that is a very judgmental and smug statement. Have you lived in America? And really, to compare the two is a bit unfair, there are many things we can learn from Denmark, and other things that I’m sure any Dane coming here to live would find refreshing and great. We are not free, no one is. As an individual, in your own mind, you can be free. But government and societal pressure doesn’t allow most people true freedom. Even getting a dirty look because you wore an actual color instead of all black/white/gray is an infringement on freedom. Just a thought.
