At this evening’s Democratic Party of Milwaukee County monthly meeting, Peter Blewett, who was voluntarily redistricted out of his Milwaukee School Board Seat, announced his candidacy for Milwaukee County Supervisor from the 5th District. It looks like this seat that is being vacated by the retiring Lee Holloway is getting rather crowded. The candidates I [...] Tonight United Wisconsin and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin announced that 300,001 signatures have been obtained in the effort to Recall Governor Scott Walker in just 13 days, 70,000 signatures in Milwaukee County alone. Obviously these signatures are the low hanging fruit…those Wisconsinites totally upset with the direction Wisconsin is headed under the governorship of [...] Here’s a brief instructional video to help people understand Recall Denialism. In a report today, PolitiFact thought they caught WEAC being less than honest about the School Administrators report. However, if you dig beneath the number, they’re far more honest than Walker was when he was caught lying about the same report. So honest, in fact, I’d evaluate it as true. [...] Here’s a particularly disappointing piece from Thomas B. Edsall published in the Sunday, November 27th edition of the New York Times. Edsall reports that the Democratic Party is officially abandoning the white working class. The most tasteless quote of the piece comes from Rutgers political science professor Cliff Zukin, who says of the Party’s decision to abandon low [...] The elephant in the Federal Budget room. [...] Nuff Said! Cindy @Fairly Conservative blog (one of my favorites on the right by the way), went on a rant today. I don’t go all “you suck Democrats!” very often, but I’m close. Darn close. I am so disgusted by the desire they have to keep this state torn to shreds. [...] This looks like a cool project… This project is about commissioning artists to produce current protest art and to circulate it throughout the country.
