[...] It was widely reported earlier today by the mainstream media that in a major departure from his predecessors, Republican Gov. Scott Walker has no plans to grant any pardons in the near future. Past governors from both parties have granted some pardons during their first year in office, but according to walker spokesman Cullen Werwie, [...] It is time to get beyond the schadenfreude. Oh, sure, it is a delight to see Herman Cain in denial over a 13 year “friendship,” so much that he is thinking of ending his campaign. That’s not going to matter. Sure, conservatives such as Hannity and Huckabee seemingly had no problem with the harrassment accusations [...] GENERAC announced those 400+ job opportunities at their Whitewater plant back when Governor Walker visited and this was touted as a “big win” for Walker and the GOP Jobs Machine. But you might want to hold off on that victory lap, Governor. At least 300 of those jobs are only temporary. [...] Totally full of awesome! This should be a given, but here goes. Rule of Thumb – Staff from really bad politicians make really bad politicians! While there are too many examples to name (Robin Vos and Cottage Grove’s own ex-appointed president being a couple. Sun Prairie is also finding that out with Mayor John Murray who was formerly paul [...] Former Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson: “The real two-party system in America is the Meanies and the Weenies. The Meanies want to take away your benefits and the Weenies want to compromise with them.” Yep, that just about sums up our nation’s political system…meanies and weenies. Comedian Lee Camp is back with another Moment of Clarity, and this time he’s talking about the war….not in Afghanistan or Iraq, but to get cheap consumer goods on Black Friday. This is worth a watch, but it may not be safe for work, depending on where you work. [...] |
