If this is true, it’s absolutely and positively unacceptable: Supporters of Gov. Scott Walker report 78 pro-Walker signs have been vandalized throughout Sheboygan County in the last month. Susan Hundley, chairwoman of Walker’s Sheboygan County campaign, said that includes 60 different locations, with 18 repeat visits by vandals. I had an epiphany at the Americans For Prosperity Town Hall meeting here in Waukesha on Saturday morning. I realized that marketing, not facts, wins elections. In our collaborative post, Phil Scarr and I provided fancy charts and graphs to dispute many of the AFP’s factually inaccurate statements, and we made some jokes at their [...] Its run by Republicans, and right now the Republican party has become unhinged! Case in point: Kansas Republican Speaker of the House Mike O'Neil is praying for the death of President Obama and calls The First Lady of the United States "Mrs. Yobama". Speaker Mike O’Neal compared Michelle Obama to the Grinch in e-mails [...] Walker’s “tools” apparently permit localities to blackmail police and firefighters into accepting higher pension contribution rates by threatening them with jacking up their healthcare costs. Well done, Walkerbots! [...] Heh….. “He was one of Walker’s most trusted confidants,” said Orville Seymer, a property manager active in recall politics through Citizens for Responsible Government. No doubt if the tables were turned and the “he” we were referring to was one of Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle’s “most trusted confidants,” conservatives wouldn’t be calling Doyle the victim, [...] Judges shouldn’t invent laws unless it helps the Republican Party in some meaningful way, apparently.
