  1. I read the story about the 80 year old felon who is considered a pillar of the community and in my opinion he did nothing wrong. He was being victimized when he defended himself, his wife, and his home.

  2. Children means 18 and 19 years old, also. We should all know gun violence takes a lot of young adults lives.

  3. The man is a felon. He should not have had a gun. The an illustration of how gun laws are subverted. As to your other point, I’m fairly certain ypung adults are not considered children. Even if they were the death toll is unacceptable.

    1. Ummm…it states the children include 18 and 19 year olds. I absolutely agree those death are unacceptable…but I just wanted to point out the title makes one think of young children dying at that rate. Of course any death is unacceptable.

  4. It’s kind of funny that out of the eight items on the list the only thing got that got Anon riled up was that one.

Who is he, Anon? Your dad?

Anyway, if that 80 year-old felon is a “pillar of the community”, makes you wonder about “the community”, doesn’t it?

    1. You know Zuma Bound…I have been commenting on here almost from the very beginning and I don’t feel the need to explain myself to you. You seem to have a problem trying to run every discussion on this blog.

Also…perhaps this man doesn’t live in the best of neighborhoods (I don’t know) but that doesn’t mean he’s not a good man and that there aren’t any good people around him. Your comment seems a bit “ist”…ish…if you know what I mean. Maybe you think he deserved being burglarized because of the neighborhood he lives in…?

  5. It’s cool. I’m annoyed I missed it. Does seem odd they’d include 18-19 year olds as children. Seems like padding.
