Lee Camp talks God in presidential races and religion in politics

Comedian (and good friend of this blog) Lee Camp made an appearance recently on “Countdown With Keith Olbermann,” where he discussed the prevalence of God in presidential elections.

Here’s the video:

Lee also has a new Moment of Clarity out in which he asks the question, “Why is there so much religion in our politics?”

  1. I used to really like Lee Camp, but I have to admit, his schtick is old now. I rarely watch him anymore. He needs to mix it up a bit. I think it’s in a rut.

  2. The first video made me recall a quote I saw last week:
“I am quite sure now that often, very often, in matters concerning religion and politics a man’s reasoning powers are not above the monkey’s.”
