I just signed the petition to Wasserman-Schultz, head of the DNC, and posted it on Facebook — with a blistering message.
Tomorrow, when DNC offices open, I will repeat that message in a phone call.
So far, more than 70,000 have signed the petition, and reports are of phones ringing nonstop at DNC HQ in Chicago, saying that if the DNC cannot cough up some of its massive bucks now, it will find far fewer friends in Wisconsin come this fall, when it needs us.
Cher in case you have not noticed nobody really finds what you have to say as important. Don’t you have a daughter with mental health issues you should be helping?
I think Cher is a great actress and am honored that she cares about us in Wisconsin. As for mental health issues, dante, you are right about one thing. If you want help for those with mental health, you would want to recall Gov. Walker.
I mean to say, if you want to help those with a mental illness, a Walker recall will be a good idea.

A “daughter with mental health problems”???? I have met Chaz Bono and he is happier than he has ever been in his life, with a warm and generous smile that does not lie. Read his book “Transition” and get back to me. Oh, and while you’re at it update yourself on current medical issues. It’s not 1800 and women are no longer treated for “hysteria” either.

The DNC will be in trouble only when the Wisconsin Left rejects them outright. I doubt that will happen even though it ought to happen. If the DNC offers anything now it will be done solely out of pressure, not out of doing what ought to have been done long ago and out of their own volition. It does look as though D. Wasserman Schultz will be coming to Wisconsin sometime this month to assist Tom Barrett with fundraising. Not sure what that means. Too late to regain my loyalty, but it’s nice to see that she will be making an attempt.
We do not need to have anyone come here to host a fundraiser, we need someone in D.C. to write a few very large checks. We can do local fundraisers without help but that wont come close to putting us in striking range of the Koch brothers corporate money, we need outside help.
Where is Cher’s donation?
