President Obama tweets support for Tom Barrett

Earlier today, Democratic President Barack Obama finally everything he could to help fellow Democrat Tom Barrett, who’s facing Republican Gov. Scott Walker in tomorrow’s recall election.

Yep, that’s right; the President of the United States sent out a tweet voicing his support for Tom Barrett in tomorrow’s recall election. Apparently that’s all the support President Obama could muster, despite the fact that he visited both Minnesota and Illinois for campaign stops over the weekend. The last time I checked, the state of Wisconsin would be right in the flight path of Air Force One as it heads from Minnesota to Illinois, but apparently President Obama was just too busy to actually set foot in Wisconsin to make it clear he stands with Wisconsin’s public employees in their fight to recall Gov. Walker.

I guess President Obama just didn’t have a comfortable pair of shoes to wear.
