As I write this, 12 people are dead and over 50 have been wounded as a result of the mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado by 24 year-old James Holmes.
Of course we need to attack Holmes’ home town of San Diego because they are obviously harboring terrorists. Notify the military and prepare for war. San Diego must be the Waco of California, we need tanks.
I swear to god, if I read another whole “Why didn’t one of them have a gun?” comments, I’m going to flip my shit. Even if there was a gun, he was wearing a bullet proof vest and armor. He was prepared for that possibility.

Yeah, the whole, “If someone had a gun they could have put a stop to this” thing just isn’t making me feel better about this, because as you said, the shooter was wearing body armor from head to toe.
It’s also worth noting that Colorado has both open carry and concealed carry laws, so it’s not as if there’s strenuous gun control going on there.
There is no mention of a bullet proof vest. It’s a blackhawk assault vest. Your stomach and thighs are still available to hit. A shot to the chest would still stop him. Why didn’t the gunman follow the rules of the theater that said no guns allowed? Kinda hurts the point of banning guns when only the bad guys have them. Now please continue to search for someway to blame the tea-party!

I’m not blaming the goddamn Tea Party, I’m big on gun rights.
I’m talking about dumb fucks like you who think they could have went Hollywood in a swift and planned attack when they weren’t there in that situation with everyone panicking in a closed dark space with no lighting and smoke all around. Even a trained military personal would have a hard time in that situation due to the swiftness of the attack, where it happened, and so much things they couldn’t control.

I always felt sorry for those poor lonely bad guys who were the only ones with guns.
Thank goodness they have now been joined by the drunk, stoned, the mentally ill, those with anger management issues and the morons who are dangerous enough with their cars that they didn’t need a gun in the glove compartment.
