In all seriousness, Clint Eastwood’s speech at tonight’s GOP convention started out as a train wreck and quickly turned into an unmitigated disaster, and his speech tonight will likely go down in history as one of the worst nominee lead-ins of all time.
Eastwood’s “performance” tonight was summed up best by film critic Roger Ebert.
Clint, my hero, is coming across as sad and pathetic. He didn’t need to do this to himself. It’s unworthy of him.
