The former “Recall Walker Office” in downtown Waukesha recently reopened as the DPW Coordinated Campaign Office, and is looking for volunteers. Marga Krumins, the Democrat running against Bill Kramer (R) in the 97th Assembly District, explained why she, herself, volunteers at the office:
This office, organized by Will Hoffman of Burlington, Wisconsin will be working with all of us to elect Tammy Baldwin as our next U.S. Senator.
Personally, I regard this as the most important race in our state. We need that Senate seat to be in the care of Tammy Baldwin, regardless of who becomes President. Hers will be a key Senate vote, balancing that of Senator Ron Johnson. Tammy is a representative that will fight for all of us; fight for the values that have always made this a great state to live in.
This is also a race that is very much up in the air, but also very winnable for Tammy. But, she needs our help in order to get the word out about her as she takes on Tommy Thompson. I would ask that every person willing to volunteer for any progressive candidate put in some time on her campaign.
