As reported by Andrew Kaczynski of Buzzfeed, Jason Thompson made his side-splitting birther comments at a brunch this morning attended by RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. Here’s video of Jason Thompson’s remarks.
At the very end of the video, a woman in attendance added, “we are taking donations for that Kenya trip.” Accord to Andrew Kaczynski’s report, someone from Tommy Thompson’s campaign emailed Kaczynski and indicated Tommy Thompson “has addressed this with his son, just like any father would do.” No doubt Tommy Thompson’s conversation with his son about Jason Thompson’s Kenya wisecrack included a wink and a nod – and perhaps an “attaboy.”
