During an appearance on “CBS This Morning” yesterday, General Colin Powell formally announced his endorsement of President Barack Obama for a second term in the White House.

Here’s some video of Gen. Powell’s appearance.

Later in his appearance, Gen. Powell cited what he believes to be Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s lack of serious thought about foreign policy as another reason he will be voting to reelect President Obama.

“One day he has a certain strong view about staying in Afghanistan but then on Monday night he agrees with the withdrawal, same thing in Iraq. On almost every issue that was discussed on Monday night, Governor Romney agreed with the President with some nuances. But this is quite a different set of foreign policy views than he had earlier in the campaign. And my concern … is that sometimes I don’t sense that he has thought through these issues as thoroughly as he should have.”

One Response to VIDEO: General Colin Powell endorses President Obama for reelection

  1. Cat Kin says:

Foreigner governments, even our terrorist enemies, now have an idea of what to expect from the President after four years. With Romney, our diplomacy will have to start over from a history of total filp-flop. There would be no trust throughout the world.
