Blogging Blue’s 2012 in review – and a request

As 2012 comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to share a few random tidbits about Blogging Blue.

  • In February of 2012, Blogging Blue surpassed 1 million page views. Not a bad total in four and a half years, but it took only 9 more months (November 2012) to surpass 2 million page views.
  • This blog post garnered the most page views in the history of the blog, causing intermittent outages on the blog.
  • And last (but certainly not least), Blogging Blue moved away from GoDaddy’s web hosting and went local, with this site now being hosted by Cruiskeen Consulting. Steven Hansen of Cruiskeen is a fellow progressive, and I’m pleased to support a more local (and progressive) business.

And now I have a request…in my ongoing effort to improve the experience for those of you who read and comment here, I’d like to hear your thoughts on how we can improve Blogging Blue for 2013.

  1. So glad you moved away from GoDaddy. Bob Parsons, GoDaddy founder is a RWNJ who is off-the-charts in support of RTW. His company is located in a RTW state and he is crowingly proud of that fact.
