It’s a big weekend in Hayward. The 40th anniversary of the American Birkebeiner Ski Race, with about 8,000 (an educated guess) skiers and another 10 or 15 thousand visitors is currently under way. He was the organizer of the rally for global warming awareness last weekend in Washington D.C. that drew around 50,000 people. He is also skiing in the race today, for the second time.
